KALEID 2017 Oslo

KALEID editions is delighted to be running an artists’ publishing seminar at Oslo National Academy of the Arts, 12th May. The seminar will conclude with a networking event in the Publishing Studio followed by the opening of the BA graduate show for Art and Craft and The Academy of Fine Art.

The KALEID 2017 event is free to attend and open to the public and will be held at Auditoriet.

Guest speakers spanning different intervals of publishing as artistic practice share their personal experiences and recent developments in the field. Rob van Hoesel (The Eriskay Connection, the Netherlands), Christian Tunge (Heavy Books, Norway) and Honza Zamojski (Morava Books, Poland) engage in a round table discussion with participation from the audience, chaired by Associate Professor Victoria Browne.

Between 12th - 18th May, an exhibition of artists’ publications by guest speakers, together with a selection by staff and students will be installed in the library.

Oslo National Academy of the Arts will also be present at Offprint London, the international artists’ publishing fair organised by LUMA Foundation in collaboration with Tate Modern, between 19th - 21st May 2017.
