Avgang 2026: Anna Näumann / I felt the temper of the times, and this is my response
I felt the temper of the times, and this is my response is the graduation project of Anna Näumann, MFA student at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
When the noise of the world grows too loud,
I too find myself listening for a tone that can hold the weight of it all.
The event is a participatory situation that will unfold in and between spaces of warmth and cold: sauna, cold plunge, shower areas and a pool. It includes curious collaborations with other artists, and is a result of Näumann’s ongoing exploration of combining artistic and curatorial methods with her research on listening and relational practices.
Swimwear is mandatory in the pool. Light refreshments will be offered to you in the reception area after your session.
Each slot has a maximum of 42 spots, so please sign up here to secure a spot!

Simon Daniel Tegnander Wenzel
Simon Daniel Tegnander Wenzel (b. 1988) is an artist and musician based in Oslo, Norway, working across performance, installation, scent, sound, and moving image. His practice traces forgotten traditions and alternative technologies displaced by contemporary life. Through participatory processes and experimental narratives, Wenzel reframes relationships to land, ritual, labor, and time, encouraging embodied forms of knowledge and collective experience. Tegnander Wenzel has infused this project with a scent, carrying an old promise of healing grief and sorrow.
Åsa Båve
Åsa Båve (b. 1988) is an artist and filmmaker based in Oslo and Gothenburg. She completed her MFA at KhiO last year and holds a BFA in Photography from HDK-Valand. She works with installation, sculpture, performance and video. Her work revolves around vulnerability, interdependence, and care. In recent years, she has focused on soap as a material in flux, and how it can embody leakage, fragility and change. For this project, Båve has created a soap for collective use, dissolving through touch and time, giving its substance to the bodies that use it.
