Avgang 2025: Vetle Springgard / Scaparapin

Avgang 2025: Vetle Springgard / Scaparapin

The performance Scaparapin is Vetle Springgard’s graduation project in master choreography at KHiO.

I bleed because I must put up with it
A short amount of time to gain their trust
And show that I, as them, have felt the force,
The swift and mighty blow from mother Just

“I’ve paid the price, let bygones and see,
Forgotten, all the rage they held for me
All thoughts they hold are now of unity
And love has clouded judgment once again
I won, escaped the wrath of naive men
Or wait, is this an opportunity?

Scaparapin is a parasitic performance made with material from another performance, “Scapins Skøyerstreker” by Molière presented by 2. BASF at KHiO 2-4.4 2025

The artistic process has been a gentle invasion seeking to exploit the leftovers, the discarded elements, different takes and perspectives, and other remnants.
