Open Forum: The artist run space – A lecture with artists and founders of the gallery Pachinko
In this Open forum lecture we will meet the artists Mathilde Carbel and Kristian Schrøder who has started the artist run space Pachinko, Grønland. They will give a presentation about their experiences and insights in creating an artist-run space in Oslo.
Pachinko is an artist-run space located in Grønlandsleiret 47C, Oslo. Pachinko aims to present experimental cross-disciplinary projects by regional and international artists. Through a Nordic network, an open structure and a flexible programme, Pachinko seeks to provide a testing ground for artistic and social discourse.
Pachinko is run by Mathilde Carbel and Kristian Schrøder.
Open Forum is a student run initiative from the Academy of Fine Art in Oslo.
Open Forum seeks to create a meaningful exchange of ideas and a dynamic space for dialogue and debate between art students, artists and others. The talks are structured around different topics, from those closer to artistic and curatorial practices to other of social and political relevance.
