Read more about the candidates below.

About the elected candidates:

Aron Student representative, Aron Tweve, BAMS3:
When was the last time someone from visual art was in the board? When was the last time you got YOUR voice heard in the board? I want to be a representative, a messenger, a spokesperson for you as a student. A voice for us as students, to inform you about what is happening in the board, and them about what is happening for us students. Make the regulations and changes at KHiO transparent for you and for me
Clara Student representative, Clara Claussen, Kunstakademiet, 3BA:
I am running for re-election as a student representative to the board because I want to be a voice from the students to influence KHiO in a direction where the students' academic and social needs are taken care of and strengthened. I want to contribute to KHiO becoming a more transparent institution where students feel heard.
Dan Grønlund 1. deputy-representative, Dan Grönlund, BAKF 3 year: Please vote for me in the election, I believe I am a good listener, I am eager to bring forward our student perspectives. I bring knowledge and interest in democratic processes from my time on the board in 2023/2024, and from previous studies on a bachelor's program in public administration. Thanks in advance!
Emma 2. deputy-representative, Emma Leah Culén Khei, MADA2:
If chosen, I will do my best to be a reliable source for student representation within the board. I’ve previously engaged in similar activities - during my BA in the UK I was elected as SU president (similar to SR leader) and worked in several committees alongside staff members. I’m also asking for your votes for a selfish reason: to challenge myself to learn as much as possible here at KHiO, including skills involving decision-making, leadership, and setting up long-term plans.

The election is held digitally at valg.khio.no

The election result: two student representatives, each with a deputy representative. You can vote until 21 October at 12:00.
