Exam Accommodations
You may apply for exam accommodations if you have a disability or special needs.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply for exam accommodations if you have a disability or special needs that cause significant challenges during exams.
A disability may involve the loss of or damage to a body part or a bodily function.
Special needs may include physical, psychosocial, and/or learning-related challenges. These difficulties may be temporary or permanent but must be of a significant nature.
The purpose of accommodations is to compensate for the disadvantages caused by your situation, enabling you to demonstrate your academic competence on equal terms with other students. Accommodations should not provide any additional advantage.
Examples of accommodations include physical adjustments and/or extended time during exams.
Documentation Requirements
The need for accommodations must be documented by a physician or other qualified professional. The certificate must include a justification for why special arrangements are necessary during the exam.
