Would you like to be the new student representative on the board?
Oslo National Academy of the Arts is electing two new student representatives (and two alternate board members) to the board, and we hope you want to be that person or know someone who will be a good representative.
All KHiO students who are registered for this semester may nominate or be nominated.
The Board is the highest organ at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and is responsible for setting the strategy for education and research activities, as well as establishing goals and performance requirements. As a board member, you will have a real opportunity to influence matters concerning KHiO, and it’s a great position to have on your CV.
Board meetings are conducted in Norwegian.
The student who is elected will serve for one year, and for the academic year 2025/2026, the following meetings are scheduled:
- October 28, 09:00–16:00 (board seminar)
- October 29, 10:00–14:00
- December 9, 10:00–14:00
- February 3, 10:00–14:00
- March 3, 10:00–14:00
- June 9, 09:00–16:00 (full-day meeting and dinner)
The payment is divided into two parts: a base compensation and a meeting fee. The base compensation is NOK 74,000. The meeting fee is NOK 8,600 for meetings lasting up to 4 hours, and NOK 12,300 for meetings lasting longer.
Do you know someone who might be a good candidate? The deadline to nominate your candidate is September 26 at 12:00.
You nominate by filling out this online form.
Please remember to speak with the person before nominating them to ensure they are willing to run for election.
The candidates will have an election campaign parallel with the pre-election period October 7-19, and the election day is October 20.
