KHiO Quarterly

The three visual departments at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) - Art and Craft, Design and the Academy of Fine Art – host a public program at Akademirommet at Kunstnernes hus during March, April and May.

Join us for exhibitions, events and workshop-presentations related to the departments´ study programs, brought together under the umbrella of KHiO QuARTerly.

The project is kindly supported by Fondet for Kunst og Designstudenter (FKDS) and Kunstnernes Hus.

• 4.–8. April. Opening 4. April, 6pm: Dariusz Wojdyga, Jessica Ullevålseter and Akerselva

Design

• 12.–14. April. Opening 12. April, 7pm: Sticks, Stones & Stitches Group exhibition / Lieu Le, Annikken Wilhelmsen, Kjetil Smedal, Lloyd Achim Winter.
• 18.–21. April. Opening 18. April, 7pm: Dress rehearsal Group exhibition / Frederik Tschenka Tang Jensen, Kateřina Křížová, Sabrina Melissa Saberhagen, Silje Marie Sivertsen, Hannah Elisabeth Friederike Stockem, Une Kristin Teigen. Responsible teacher: Professor Kirsti Bræin.
• 25.–28. April. Opening 25. April, 7pm: Deliverables Group exhibition / Clothing and costume bachelor and master graduation. Responsible teacher: Ida Falck Øien, Fredrik Floen.
• 30. April–05. May. Opening 30. April, 5pm: Interstice

Kunstakademiet

Akademirommet is located in the back of Kunstnernes Hus in a former professor studio and classroom that has been used by the Academy of Fine Art intermittently since the 1930s.
