Olesya Tutova

Olesya graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (under Prof. Mikhail Kollontay) and in 2007 completed her postgraduate studies (under Prof. Pavel Nersessian).

She is a prize-winner of International Piano and Chamber Music Competitions. She performed with solo recitals and chamber music repertoire in Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Olesya participated in Aix-en-provence Opera festival (France), Savonlinna Opera festival (Finland), Festival 'Veranos de la villa de Madrid' (Spain), Saaremaa Opera Festival (Estonia), 'Prahova Classic Nights' Festival (Romania), Festival of Contemporary Music (Poland), Xanten Opera Festival (Germany), 58th Wiltz Opera Festival (Luxembourg); Masterclasses of Ernesto Palacio, Edith Wiens, Paul Farrington, Guiseppe Sabbatini, Brian Jauhiainen, Irena Milkeviciute; and collaborated with Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico in Madrid, Teatro Cervantes de Malaga, Fuertventura Opera, Heidelberg Theatre, Oslo Opera House, Warsaw National Opera and Grand Theatre, Wrocław Opera House, Łódź Musical Theatre, Poznan Grand Theatre, Cracow Philharmonic, Lublin Musical Theatre.

In the academic word, since she had her PhD with the thesis “Michael Kollontay. Portrait of Musician” (2009), she has published some articles and the book based on the theme of her thesis.

In January, 2018 Olesya started working at KHiO as an assosiate professor and pianist. Since September, 2018 she has been a Head of Music of the Opera Academy.
