Kristel Jæger Skorge
Kristel Jæger Skorge is the director at KHiO. She assumed the position in 2021 for a fixed term of six years.
Skorge holds a graduate degree (cand.philol.) and a doctoral degree (dr.art.) from the University of Bergen. She also completed a Master of Public Administration degree at the Copenhagen Business School, specialising in strategic management. Skorge has wide-ranging experience from the higher education sector, including stints as a research fellow and project worker at the Centre for European Culture Studies at the University of Bergen, R&D leader and assistant director general at the University of Stavanger, associate professor and department head at Oslo and Akershus University College (now OsloMet) and R&D leader at the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV). She came to KHiO from her previous position as director of the Department of Research and Innovation Administration at the University of Oslo.
