Joint marking (samsensur) - when there are several examiners

If there are several examiners on the marking committee, you have two options:

Option 1: Each examiner registers their own marks.

This is possible but can be confusing.

Option 2 (recommended): One examiner registers all the marks on behalf of the committee.

You agree internally who will enter all the marks on behalf of the committee.

How to proceed when one examiner registers the marks

Step 1: Registration

  1. Examiner 1 logs in to Fagpersonweb.
  2. Selects "I want to register marks on behalf of the committee".
  3. Registers all marks. Note: Candidates sho should not receive a mark must be left blank. The Study Administration handles this.
  4. Click "Save and next step".

Step 2: Signing

  1. The other examiners log in
  2. They can view the marks but cannot change them
  3. They may add private comments if needed
  4. They click "Save and next step", followed by "Sign". Signing means they approve the marks.

Step 3: Submitting the marks

Once all examiners have signed, the marks can be submitted.

  1. Examiner 1 logs in again
  2. Clicks "Sign and submit"
  3. The marks are sent to FS and will become visible to students in Studentweb once administrative processing is completed.

If you have entered a mark incorrectly

If you have:

  • signed an incorrect mark, or
  • submitted incorrect marks
--> Contact the Study Administration immediately. You cannot correct marks yourself once they have been submitted.
