Aurora Romano (Medium- og materialbasert kunst, Tekstil, BA2)
I am inspired by how involved KHiOs students are in this institution, and in politics and society. I believe we are a strong, inclusive and critical community that needs to be listened to, and I want to take our voice on KHiOs board. As a teacher for several art institutions in Oslo I am experienced in getting opinions to be heard and, not least, listening and being present for those I represent.

Aidai Amanova (Kunstakademiet 1BA)
This is the first time in my life that I have had the opportunity to be part of an educational institution where students’ voices are genuinely valued. I see it as an incredible privilege, and I want to use it to ensure that we, as students, can actively shape our own paths within the school. Coming from an international background and often finding myself in both outsider and insider positions, I have become sensitive to how structures affect individuals. I want to use that awareness to advocate for diverse voices within the academy and help foster a culture of care, equity, and accountability.

Hanna Astrid Elizabeth Carlberger (BA2 Kunstakademiet)
I want to become a student representative on the board because I believe I will do a good job in this role by monitoring and influencing decisions so that the outcome is to the benefit of students, our interests are safeguarded, and the quality of education remains high. This is particularly important in times of change and economic pressure. I believe this can be achieved by acting as a spokesperson for students on the board, through contact with students, SU, and SR. In addition to this, I want to work to reduce barriers for contact between departments and work to create common areas.

Ane Lindholt (Materialbasert kunst, BA2)
I want to represent the students on the KHiO board! For me, it is important that decisions about KHiO's operations and future are made with the school's most important group in mind - namely the students. I study material-based art with a field of study in textiles. I am committed to KHiO being an institution for all students. Therefore, I will keep close contact with the Student Council if I am elected. I have long and broad experience from previous jobs that will come in handy in this position. A vote for me is a vote for a strong student voice on KHiO's board!

Radoslav Paulech (Master i Teater (2024-2026))
I have studied at KHiO for more than two years, and have also studied at several other (not only art) universities and faculties in Norway and abroad. Previously, I was also a member of the Student Council and Board at the Academy of Arts in Bratislava. I have extensive knowledge of how universities work, and can contribute with international perspectives. I am also an active social activist and am interested in politics and philosophy.

Jeg stiller til valg som studentrepresentant i styret fordi jeg ønsker å bidra til at studentenes perspektiver blir tatt på alvor i de beslutningene som former hverdagen vår på KHiO. For meg handler dette om å skape rom for en åpen dialog mellom studenter og institusjon på tvers av fakulteter så vi kan påvirke spørsmål og avgjørelser, både faglig, sosialt og institusjonelt. Jeg tror på inkluderende og transparente prosesser, og vil være en rolig, tydelig og lyttende stemme på vegne av studentene i styret!

Julius Manne Johannes Carlsson Jeansson (Bachelor i Billedkunst, third year)My name is Julius and im one of you, a student. I believe through open dialoge between us and with the people who administrate this school we can make a differance. I will create a physical postbox in the school where everyone can put their feelings and thoughts and i will bring it up during the meetings. This will create a direct path between us the students and the administration. I love to discuss but i also love to listen. So if you want to, give it a vote! Lets see what we can accomplish!

I would love to contribute in making Khio a great place for us all to grow together. I have a background in both political & charity organisations. I have also been working as a producer, have good organisational skills and a passion for supporting community, especially the voices that are not often heard.
