Miao Sun is currently doing her master’s degree in medium and material based art. The exhibition is based on the study of the Romanization of Chinese characters. Through different approach, Pinyin becomes a part of the artist’s work.

Miao Sun graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts, and is currently doing her master in medium and material based art at Oslo National Academy of the Arts.

Miao has been working on the concept of language since she was an exchange student at Zurich University of Arts. Without any knowledge of German, life experiences became especially interesting. After that, she keeps pursuing the connections between different cultures through languages. Now without any knowledge of Norwegian, she seems to have fun with the life here too.
