Landmark

Ingibjörg Guðmundsdóttir is exploring if and how it is possible to awake feelings of care and curiosity for the nature and will to protect or preserve it.

Landmark is an installation by Ingibjörg Guðmundsdóttir, composed with collected material that gives a conceptual context to the earth, the nature and to geological phenomena. This time with raw and fired slate stones, tree branches, mirrored in drawings.

Ingibjörg is in her final year of an MFA in Medium and Material-based Art, with ceramics as a specialisation, at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
