Skuespillets estetikk er en filmvisningsserie som ser nærmere på skuespillerens forskjellige spillestiler i utvalgte filmklassikere. 

Serien er satt sammen av scenekunstner Espen Klouman Høiner, for tiden førsteamanuensis ved Teaterhøgskolen.

Først ut i serien er Carl Theodor Dreyers stumfilm Jeanne d’Arc fra 1928 med Renée Falconetti i tittelrollen.

The Aesthetics of Acting: The passion of Joan of Arc (1928)

The Aesthetics of Acting is a film screening series that examines the various acting styles found in selected film classics. The series has been curated by performing artist Espen Klouman Høiner, currently an Associate Professor at the Academy of Theatre.

The first film in the series is Carl Theodor Dreyer’s 1928 silent film The passion of Joan of Arc, starring Renée Falconetti in the title role.
