Avgang 2026: Bachelor samtidsdans
Tredjeårsstudentene på bachelor samtidsdans inviterer til sin avgangsforestilling.
L8 PARADE
L8 PARADE is a new collaboration between Brazilian choreographer Renan Martins and the graduating students of the BA in contemporary dance at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO).
In this work, Martins revisits SATURNO, A FESTA, a solo originally created in collaboration with Zen Jefferson in 2018. Drawing on themes of nostalgia, repetition, and transformation, the piece moves through a sequence of emotional states and images suspended in slow motion. Influenced by pop culture and music, movement becomes both embodied memory and emotional expression. In L8 PARADE the dancers explore how bodies move together through space, rhythm, and tempo. Balancing precision with playfulness, the performance unfolds as a shifting emotional landscape in which dance becomes more than form alone. Yet beneath the surface lies a growing tension: how long can a performer sustain tension, and what happens when the agreed order breaks apart?
