Making Ground – group exhibition

Making Ground brings together artists from KHiO’s medium- and material-based art program (Mamba) and curators from UiO’s Curating, Critique, and Heritage of Modernism (KKM) in a four-day exhibition at the university's former bookstore.

The works on view emphasize weight, texture, and physical making. Artistic production meets curatorial thinking in a temporary intervention that reclaims space for art on the university´s campus. This exhibition marks the starting point for future collaborations between two major Oslo institutions, developed in partnership with the art collection of UiO.
