Talk

Open Forum: Hanne Lippard

Open Forum: Hanne Lippard

The talk is about Lippard's artistic practice, and how it involves a variety of formats and collaborations, and moves between music, art and poetry. She will be speaking about her educational background, and how she ended up being an artist without studying visual art.

Hanne Lippard (NO), *1984 in Milton Keynes, GB, lives and works in Berlin. Lippard’s practice lies at the confluence of spoken and written word, and her work is conveyed through a variety of disciplines, predominantly sound-installations and performance. Her work reflects on the abstraction of language and our ability to exist in playback, struggling with standardization, inclusive logic, and a certain automatism of everyday language.
