Åpen dag

Kunst og håndverk – åpen dag 2025

Kunst og håndverk – åpen dag 2025

Welcome to the Open Day at the Department of Art and Craft!

There will be guided tours every hour from 10:00 to 16:00! Students will be showing off “their KHiO” — on stages, in studios, workshops, workplaces, and maybe even their favorite hangout spots. Meet up at the reception!

The Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Medium and Material-Based Art provide an art education within the fields of ceramics, textile, printmaking, and metal and jewellery art. In addition, the department offers a Master’s programme in Art and Public Space.

During the Open Day, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the workshops that form the core of our study programmes, observe and take part in workshops and demonstrations of various techniques, and talk with staff and students from the different programmes and subject areas. There will also be exhibitions and live streams throughout the campus, showcasing some of the students’ ongoing work.
