Give Them Wings & We Shall See Their Faces

This immersive performance is part of Sally Dean's PhD Final Assessment and part of her PhD Artistic Research Project called The Somatic Costume Dressing Room – Choreographing Attention through Touch & the Poetic.

Enter a costume sensorium awakening the absence and presence of others and within ourselves. Ritual acts of dressing, walking and listening, with eyes closed, prepare us to be touched by the invisible but tangible.

One to one guides and poetic sound scores, lead us on a journey of honouring the ´missing´ through the touch of coats, feathers and cloth masks, and the surrounding live water installation.

This is an immersive performance that involves touch. Prebooking required. 8 audience max per show. To book your place, please email Sally at salldean@khio.no.

Please specify whether you would like to be a witness (eyes open) mostly sitting & lying positions or a traveler (eyes closed), mostly exploring. It also includes an audience feedback session at the end.

This event is part of Sally's PhD Final Assessment and part of her PhD Artistic Research Project called The Somatic Costume Dressing Room – Choreographing Attention through Touch & the Poetic.

Thank you to all designers, performers and the Costume Agency Project who are making this event possible. More information and a full list of credits.
