Social imagination refers to the ability to understand and interpret the relationship between individual experiences and broader social structures and contexts. Social imagination encourages individuals to think beyond their personal lives and examine how larger social forces shape their experiences and the world around them. Educational games can foster social imagination by providing opportunities for players to explore and understand the connections between individual experiences and broader social contexts.

In this practice-led talk, artists share their experience of gamification as a form of performative art contributing to the social imagination. they also present games to engage participants with the issue aesthetically.
