Open Forum: An evening in the dark with Diego Marcon

Open Forum invites Italian artist Diego Marcon for an informal conversation with professor Mike Sperlinger.

An evening in the dark with Diego Marcon (in conversation with Mike Sperlinger) will be held at Black Box at the Art Academy in Oslo, KHiO - (ask at reception if you get lost). Free and open to all (snacks & refreshments provided).

Open Forum invites Italian artist Diego Marcon for an informal conversation with Mike Sperlinger, which will include an opportunity to see a few of Diego’s short films. Working mainly across film & video, Diego explores the relationship between reality & its representation, in relationship to various film genres, such as slapstick comedy, horror, the musical, & the cartoon. His interest in the more sombre realms of the human psyche is represented by the recurrent motif of childhood to evoke a primary, vulnerable human condition.
