The exhibition Spaces of Learning, Facilitating encountering in the post-pandemic city; Case study: Oslo Science City showcases the findings and design interventions by eight MA1 Design students. The works are outcomes of a 10-week study period.
The course has pondered around issues of our future social spaces and things in the developing urban Oslo; how could we foresee and cultivate our collective efforts within the inevitable transformation of education, research, work and everyday life. The variety of design proposals are intended to provide an entry point to a broader debate on the tomorrow’s Oslo.
The exhibition opening is a public live event including student presentations and open discussion, 26 November at 13.00 – 16.00. Welcome to celebrate the students’ achievements and for a lively dialogue.
The project has been led by Professor and Head of Programme Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, Toni Kauppila. It is also part of his PhD studies at School of Arts, Design & Architecture in Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland.
