Recognition of Previous Education (Credit Transfer)

Have you completed studies in the same subject area as your degree at KHiO?
You can apply to have this education recognized as part of your KHiO degree. This means that courses you have already completed can replace equivalent courses at KHiO.

Important to know

  • You cannot transfer education from a lower level into a higher-level degree (for example, high school subjects for bachelor's degree, or bachelor-level courses for a master's degree).
  • You must register for all mandatory courses by the semester registration deadline, even if you have applied for credit transfer.
If your application is approved, you can withdraw from these courses later.
  • Application are assessed by the dean of your department.
  • If you have questions, contact your department's student advisor.
  • Credit transfer is not part of the admission process. You can only apply after:
    • You have accepted your study place at KHiO.
    • You have active student status and student rights at KHiO.
  • KHiO does not accept or process applications from individuals without active study rights.

How to apply

You'll find more information about how to apply and what documentation you need on the page: Recognition of Previous Education (Credit Transfer)
