About the candidates:
Chair, Ånund Berger, BA2Academy of Fine Arts, BA2: My focus as a student representative is to break the barriers between the different departments at this school, and open up for more communication and collaboration between us all. I was part of the Palestinacamp at KHIO, and want to continue to put pressure where it is needed, so that this school can grow and change to what it needs to be. I want to generate conversation between peers across departments, by inviting you all to contribute in any shape or form to an activist bibliography that can be placed in the library. |

Deputy chair, Dan Grönlund, BA medium- og materialbasert kunst, 3 år:
Please vote for me in the election, I believe I am a good listener, I am eager to bring forward our student perspectives. I bring knowledge and interest in democratic processes from my time on the board in 2023/2024, and from previous studies on a bachelor's program in public administration. Thanks in advance! |

Member, Johannes Gudbrandsen-Stavland, 3BAMS: third year for the second time at BA Contemporary Dance, I know this school like my back pocket! When I eventually graduate, my wish is to leave behind a better KHiO for the next generations. Good communication, visibility, and transparency, internally at school, and externally to the outside world. KHiO is a dancing body that just needs some body-mind-centering. |
|
Member, Jonas Oppedal, MADEIM 1:
It's time for change. Have you ever been frustrated by how dysfunctional KHiO can be at times? So have I. As students, we should be the school's main priority, and our demands deserve to be met. Join me in making KHiO live up to its reputation. |
The election is held digitally at valg.khio.no
The election result: the candidate with the most votes becomes leader of the Student Council, the candidate with the second most votes becomes deputy leader and the next candidates become student council members. You can vote until 21 October at 12:00.
