Therese Veier

Therese has studied graphic art and drawing at (SHKS), English (UiO), Cand.philol in Art History (UiO) and has a law degree (UiO) where she wrote the thesis Contractual relationships Artist - Gallery.

Her main interest field is text and publications by artists, especially text-based practices to be found in the distinction between art, performance, prose poetry, script / drama and critical comment. She has written about contemporary art, art crime, film, architecture and practical legal issues related to artists. Knowledge of law, exhibitions, art production, and commercial and public art activities are developed in professionalization courses for the Academy of fine art`s students and EKD - Entrepreneurship in art and design.

She has previously worked as assistant director for STANDARD (OSLO), KORO and written for Kunst, the Nordic Le Monde Diplomatique, Aftenposten K, D2, ARCA, KORO, and catalog texts for artists.
