Samoa Remy

Samoa Rémy is currently PhD fellow in artistic practice at the Department of Art and Craft at Oslo National Academy of the Arts.

Master in Printmaking from The National Academy of Art and Design, Oslo, 2002. Guest student at the National Academy of Fine Arts, Oslo from 1997 to 1999. Master from the Academy of Fine Arts, Florence, Italy, 1999.

2019: Honorary Mention, CERN International Art Award. 2016: exhibition and artist’s talk at Colony Collapse Disorder, Sonnenstube, Lugano, Switzerland. / 2015: solo show Substratum, Jugendstilsenteret, Kunstmuseet KUBE, Ålesund, Norway. / 2014: solo show Division Leads To Multiplication, Museo cantonale d'Arte in Lugano, Switzerland, in occasion of the award of Manor Art Prize. / 2011: solo show Ante Verbum, La Rada, Spazio per l'arte contemporanea (Curated by Patrick Gosatti and Noah Stolz), in Locarno, Switzerland.
