Petter Wiik

Petter Wiik (1966) er pianist og komponist, bosatt i Drøbak.

Petter studerte komposisjon ved Norges Musikkhøgskole i 1994 - 1998, og tok siv.ing. - studiet ved Norges Tekniske Høgskole i 1984 - 1990.

Som komponist arbeider han i hovedsak med elektronisk og elektroakustisk musikk. Han har siden 1996 produsert en rekke helaftens bestillingsverk til flere sentrale norske koreografer, som Øyvind Jørgensen, Sølvi Edvardsen og Kjetil Skøien. Han har i tillegg laget musikk til produksjoner for NRK Drama og Radioteateret.

Petter har arbeidet som pianist og høgskolelektor ved KHIO siden 1999, fra 2005 i 100 % stilling.
