Conversations on Choreography
The four Master’s candidates in Choreography 2019 will present their MA projects and engage in conversations with their examiners and main supervisors.
The four projects are: I dance You by Kyuja Bae, Gift of Stone by Katarina Skår Lisa, De Man Dem by Thomas Prestø, and Lineage by Otto Ramstad.
Program
Kyuja Bae will meet Dr. Kirsi Monni, prof. in choreography, UniArts Helsinki; Snelle Hall, assoc. prof. in contemporary dance, KHiO; and Anne Grete Eriksen, prof. in choreography, KHiO, as the main supervisor.
Katarina Skår Lisa will meet Dr. Nayla Naoufal, dance critic, assoc. prof. at the Research Center in Environmental and Ecocitizenship Education in Université du Québec, Montréal, and currently a postdoc. fellow at the UiO; Dr. Per Roar, prof. in choreography, KHiO; and Anne Grete Eriksen, prof. in choreography, KHiO, as the main supervisor.
Thomas Prestø will meet Dr. Karmenlara Ely, prof. and artistic director, Norwegian Theatre Academy, Fredrikstad; Merete Lingjærde, prof. and leader of the BA programme in jazz dance, KHiO; and Dr. Per Roar, prof. in choreography, KHiO, as the main supervisor.
Otto Ramstad will meet Dr. Kirsi Monni, prof. in choreography, UniArts Helsinki; Dr. Theo Barth, prof. in theory and writing, Design, KHiO; and Snelle Hall, assoc. prof. in contemporary dance, KHiO, as the main supervisor.
