Performance
Avgang 2019: dølge
Magdalene Solli is presenting parts of her Master project in dance.
This dance performance is based on a collection of investigations of relationships between inner and outer spaces, given as well as imagined.
Dølge: hide, keep secret. Danish loan word, related to Norse 'dylja' and Norwegian 'dvele' (dwelling).
dølge is being presented as part of Magdalene's ongoing Master project in dance. The project includes different practical and theoretical entrances to 'investigations' of non-human subjectivities; and ‘supernaturalness’. These investigations have resulted in artistic work working with fleeting visibility, deformation, 'absence' of natural laws, transformation, morphing, living objects, acts of 'becoming' objects, the forest as site, different ways of perceiving surroundings through changing given or imagined sense-apparatuses, supernatural creatures, animals, and other non-human systems, matter or material that can be claimed to ‘do’.
