Galleri Seilduken: Strange Attractors

Galleri Seilduken: Strange Attractors

This exhibition by Joel Correia, within the specialisation metal and jewellery, is an exploration of oppositions, this body of work features the organic and geometric, the natural and artificial, the raw and the fine.

Place: Galleri Seilduken, 3rd floor, Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Fossveien 24.

While the work is composed of a variety of materials, steel operates as the consistent base to promote these ideas of opposition. Through material and process, frozen moments of impact, pressure and movement are created to contrast with the geometric structures of the steel.

Joel Correia is a BA2 student at the department medium- and materialbased art, with the specialisation metal and jewellery.
