Merete Røstad: Høring

Artist Merete Røstad will host a one-day public hearing on what she terms ”the participatory monument.” Høring is part of a greater contemporary conversation on Public art and Commemorative Art making—exploring new modes of remembering and forgetting in public sphere.
Merete Røstad has been a Research Fellow at department Art and Craft since 2014. Høring is Røstad's presentation of the artistic result of her artistic research project:

Remembrance and Forgetting as Art Practice in Public Sphere
The event is in Norwegian and English via simultan translation.
In addition to Høring, Røstad's ARCHIVE is available to the public September 10th - October 10th. The ARCHIVE is an assembly of documentation material (sound, photographs, video, models, 3D renderings, video, drawings, publications and objects) from her artistic research process.
