Anna Nyström and Patricia Risopatron Berg: Let's Visit It Again in the Cool Clear Light of Day

Anna Nyström and Patricia Risopatron Berg, second year students in Printmaking and Drawing, show their works in Resepsjonsgalleriet.

Anna works with images, and sometimes text. Themes like sisterhood, supporting each other, the connections we make and the act of sharing are all central. In her work we meet a recurring cast of characters in a made up universe.

Through fragmented stories and dialogues we becomepart of their lives.

Patricia collects images and recreates them in drawing and print, collects and recreates until they represent something new and their origin becomes irrelevant. The twists of memory’s reconstruction of the original story and the unreliable narrator are factors.

In our work non-linear storytelling is a common denominator.

Anna (f.1985) and Patricia (f. 1995) are second year bachelor students at Printmaking and Drawing at KHIO.
