Exhibition

Avgang 2024: Signe Greve / Make Yourself at Home
Make Yourself at Home is Signe Greve's individual MFA graduation project.
Welcome
step inside into the warmth
I have tidied up for your arrival so everything is neat and clean
What You are not meant to see
Is swept under the rug or holded by other rooms
Like my shadow that disappears when the light is turned off
When the light goes out I become one with the darkness
In Make Yourself at Home, the viewer is invited into a home. The exhibition explores the idea of the body as a host with anxiety as its guest. Here, the home functions both as a physical and psychological space for care, but also as a space of tension between comfort and unease.
The exhibition consists of colored pencil drawings and sculptures cast or wrapped in agar agar and cheese wax; materials that, in their original form, are linked to nature or used for preservation and protection.
Signe Greve
Through sculpture, installation, and performance, Signe Greve explores the dynamics between anxiety, nature, and human vulnerability. She approaches these themes through the concept of hospitality, using it as a metaphor to examine the relationship between order and chaos, trust and control.

MFA graduation projects
The final year Master students will present individual graduation projects in different spaces at KHiO and around Oslo. These projects will be diverse in form and will take place at different times during the spring semester. Some of the projects will open simultaneously. The graduating students will also collectively explore the group format in a curated group exhibition.
