Catalogue launch + public talk about the tuition fees

The graduating master students from Kunstakademiet in Oslos are launching their publication with a panel discussion about the new tuition fees."Starting the academic year 2023/24, the Norwegian government decided to introduce tuition fees for non-EU/EEA students.

For students at KHiO, the tuition fees are estimated to be 500.000-700.000 NOK per year. The Master class of 2024 was the last one to have free education, with a diverse group of students".The publication "Free Education for All: It Is Time" is launched at 14:00, with an edition of 100 free copies.

The publication includes documentation from the group exhibition at Kunstnernes hus and contributions from the graduating students.

Sarah Lookofsky (Kunstnernes hus), Pedro Gomez Egana (Kunstakademiet i Oslo) and Anora Rusten (SAIH - Studentene og Akademikernes Internasjonale Hjelpefond) will be part of the discussion, taking place from 14:30 - 15:10. Patricia Carolina (Verdensrommet+alumni from the Academy of Fine Art) will moderate the discussion.
