Students of the Metal and Jewellery at Oslo National Academy of the Arts would love to invite YOU for a POP UP MINI FESTIVAL FOR CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY where the artists from contemporary jewellery field meet shortly to present themselves and their work, to establish connections and to make the contemporary jewellery environment alive.

After last year's success, we decided to continue the form of the festival. The main idea and highlight of the program is a "speed date", where creators, collectors and enthusiasts of contemporary jewellery can meet as „Walking Galleries”, presenting their jewellery in action. Artists, collectors and jewellery enthusiasts will present their chosen pieces of art jewellery on own body. The concept of "speed date" and "pop up" is intended to see-and-show that the environment of contemporary jewellery is alive, active and can quickly and naturally respond to the impulse of cohesion, consolidation and cooperativeness thus showing the self-awareness and position in the world of generally understood contemporary art.

So let's connect the points, install the links and create a beautiful figure representing community and unity, especially important nowadays.

We start the event at Galleri Skranken around 17:33 with a welcome speech and mingling, moving afterwards to the party hall at the Metal department.
