Open Academy 2023

Open Academy is an annual tradition in which students from the Academy of Fine Art put a foot in the door and open up the school’s facilities for the public to experience.

Throughout the day one can explore open studios, and from 17:00 exhibition spaces and various alternative corners will be occupied with artworks by students from every year of the Academy of Fine Art. At Prosjekttorget, centered in the middle of the school, the students will set up a collective meeting point, where free dinner will be served from a homemade pop-up kitchen. Visitors of this year will have a chance to encounter strange happenings and meet students of the Academy in an informal space and have an open dialogue about the school and its role in society today.
