Stipendiat Bjørn Jørund Blikstad viser resultatet av sitt kunstneriske utviklingsarbeid i utstillingen Level up! Blikstad er ph.d.-stipendiat i doktorgradsprogrammet for kunstnerisk utviklingsarbeid ved avdeling design, Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo.

Artistic research project (2019-2023) titled Level Up!

The project researches the change in our design ethos when ornaments no longer is considered an add on, bringing us into contact with various time periods including the mythical and the medieval. This presentation exhibits both the attempts of discovering this ethos and the attempts of integrating it in woodcarving and cabinet making.
