Bishorgo

Bishorgo

Milton Mondal invites you all to his first solo exhibition. Mondal is a 1st year master's student in Medium and Material-based Art, Print and Drawing.

Bishorgo is a bengali alphabet that stands abandon and banishment. As background from a middle class Indian family I have seen very close connection of human dependency towards nature. The thematic of the show dwells on topic of my focus area that is human invasion towards nature, impacted landscapes, how it has been creating problems regarding land migration, mines, deforestation, water pollution, reducing the amount of natural resources and many. My images are to create scenarios and construct ambiance that out of our reach at this present moment. It allows us to witness the consequences. I wanted to highlight not only the sensing of visual practice but also a large scale impact on viewer. Through minimal approach of representation I reflect the effects of anthropogenic changes in the environment that are noticeable.
