A student who does not take an exam at the ordinary time because of a valid leave of absence is entitled to take a deferred exam.

A deferred exam shall normally be held at the beginning of the following semester, and no later than six months after the original exam.

If the student’s further participation at the Academy does not depend on having passed the exam, the student may choose to wait to take the deferred exam until the next ordinary exam is held.

The Academy may decide to hold a new exam that is open to students who have not passed the exam.

A new exam shall be held within a year after the original exam and no later than along with the next ordinary exam.
