Academic committees at the institutional level - proposal

It has been proposed that one or more academic committees should be established at the institutional level of Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Deadline for consultation is 10 May 2019.

A working group has had a mandate to assess which tasks are to be handled specifically by the committee(s) and whether they should have an advisory or decision-making function related to different tasks. The working group proposes that 3 academic committees be established at KHiO.

Background

The Rector has proposed that one or more academic committees be established at the institutional level of Oslo National Academy of the Arts. The purpose is to ensure the involvement of faculty in academic, strategic issues at the institutional level. A working group has had a mandate to assess which tasks are to be handled specifically by the committee(s) and whether they should have an advisory or decision-making function related to different tasks.

The working group proposes that 3 academic committees be established at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts:

  • Education Committee
  • Research Committee
  • Doctoral Programme Committee (including programme advisory board for the doctoral programme)
