Paul Scott

Professor Paul Scott is well known for his research into printed ceramics, as well as the re-use and reanimation of historical material in contemporary artworks. Using digital tools with ceramics, printmaking, metal, textiles, paper, his work blurs the boundaries between Fine Art, Craft and Design. Author of the classic text Ceramics and Print, his latest book Horizon, Transferware and Contemporary Ceramics (co-edited with Knut Astrup Bull) was published by Arnoldsche in 2015.

Professor Scott’s artwork can be found in private and public collections around the world including the V&A in London, National Museums of Norway and Sweden, Museum of Art and Design in New York, Newark, Brooklyn, Carnegie, Chipstone and other Art Museums in the USA.
