Koppen & Jorkjen: Soft Awakening
Koppen & Jorkjen is a collaboration between Henrik Koppen and Finn Adrian Jorkjen, who is currently doing his master's degree at the Academy of Fine Art.
Time: Vernissage Thursday 21.03, 19.00. Performance: 19.30. The exhibition is open until 24.03.

Come; for everything is now ready.
It has been long since the ripe fruits dropped their pearl shaped seeds. We shake the winter off. Stretch your tiny arms! Can you feel the sunlight? The sudden change in the breeze? Something lukewarm in your pocket?
Photosynthesis has never been easier. Do you like succulent fruits?
There are stories told that need to be retold for arbitrary reasons.
The space is a temporary place
Where actions act like transactions
For a house of contemplation and celebration
We are mere mortals, but we dress for the occasion. Let’s clap in syncopation to the rhythm of nature. The attempt at courtship is primal. Consume the figs and pinecones of yesterday.
We need you to need us, together.

Koppen & Jorkjen is a Norwegian performance duo consisting of Henrik Koppen (b. 1990) and Finn Adrian Jorkjen (b.1990). They present ritualistic performances and radio plays that become a part of their own, ever growing mythology.
For this exhibition at Galleri Kladden they will build an installation that will be incorporated in a live performance during the opening.
