Want to know more about harassment - National survey
– We take bullying and harassment seriously. We need to know more about the extent of the problem, that is why Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) is participating in a comprehensive national survey, says rector Jørn Mortensen.
Elections in 2019
This spring the Academy will elect a new rector and prorector, with candidates being both nominated and elected as a pair. Elections will also be held for new internal members of the Academy Board. All of the positions are for four-year terms.
Academic committees at the institutional level - proposal
It has been proposed that one or more academic committees should be established at the institutional level of Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Deadline for consultation is 10 May 2019.
The dokument "Språkpolitikk for KHiO" is now translated and available in the English version "Language policy".

It is time to nominate candidates for the posts as student representatives in the school board.
Studiebarometeret – the national student survey of quality in higher education
All second-year students at the bachelor and master studies at KHiO are now getting a national survey of quality in higher education.
Staff mobility through Erasmus
We have received 23 200 euros from the EU for staff mobility in 2018/2019. These funds are available to all employees.

Information about disease meningitis (meningococcal disease) at KHiO
The district health service has today been informed that a student at the Academy of Dance has been diagnosed with the contagious disease meningitis (meningococcal disease).
Zero tolerance for unwanted sexual attention and harassment
On 12 January 2018, the Oslo National Academy of the Arts replied to a letter from the Ministry of Education about a specific whistle-blowing case. The leadership at the institution affirms its policy of zero tolerance for bullying and harassment and is currently launching an action plan for a safe educational and working environment at the Academy.
Anne-Linn Akselsen new Programme Coordinator, Academy of Dance
Anne-Linn Akselsen is the new Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for the Bachelor's Programme in Contemporary Dance.

Sexual harassment case at the Academy
The Ministry of Education has received a complaint about sexual harassment at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. The Academy’s rector and director have met with representatives from the ministry, and the ministry’s letter to the Academy was reported by the online newspaper Khrono and subsequently by several other media. The Academy replied to the ministry’s letter on 12 January 2018.
